Exploring Topology in ArcGIS Pro and the Parcel Fabric

This workshop discussed topology in AtcGIS Pro—one of the most critical foundations of accurate parcel mapping.

This session examined how topology rules ensure spatial integrity, enhance data quality, and facilitate reliable editing workflows in ArcGIS Pro. We dove into common topological errors and best practices for detecting, validating, and correcting them before they impact downstream analysis or decision-making.

A special focus was dedicated to topology within the Parcel Fabric, including its role in maintaining parcel lineage, enforcing spatial relationships between parcels and boundaries, and validating adjustments and edits during parcel editing and record creation.
